Refer the image. After the change in UI, on commodity futures, we are not able to see all the 3 futures available for that particular commodity.
Now, this has created a unique problem. Let’s say, I am seeing Aug 25 futures for commodities but GoldM is due to expire today. So, Aug 25 futures will show it when there is no point in trading in them. See the circle, there is no OI in those scrips.
This is happening in Silver too. The most traded commodities in Indian market.
Thus, it is requested to revert to the earlier layout, at least, for commodity futures.
Yup I agree too. The earlier layout was better, and the new change has made it worse. Instead of expiry, please add a drop-down to select the type of commodity future, i.e. GOLD, GOLDM etc.
I feel that would be too much as there are so many commodities. Better approach was previous one. Another thing @dhan should do is to provide expiry dates in the names itself like most platforms do!
GoldM is not appearing today because most probably, it’s expiry was yesterday. Now, I have to look in Sept and then move back again to August for other commodities.
