I have encountered an problem. I want to access historical future prices for Nifty 50, but I am unable to get security_ids for expired contracts. Is there something I am missing? Or is there any work around to get the both historical day and intraday data for the same?

We would like to inform you that we currently provide continuous chart data for futures. Using the current contract’s Security ID, you can fetch daily historical data since inception.
However, intraday historical data is not available for expired futures contract at the moment.
