is there any way to know true avg buy price of only current open positions?
On the chart it is showing the Avg buy price of all buys : means it includes both closed and currently open positions avg price…
dhan.get_positions() is also showing avg of closed+open position buy price…

We would like to inform you that, the actual and correct buy average for your open position should include both closed positions and open positions average price exactly as shown at our platforms and via API, as it is the same contract or instrument being traded again.
However we understand that you may require individual trade details. For the same you may use the below mentioned api calls
are we open to discuss/debate on this ..
If so i have some practical issue to debate…
Else forget it… I take it as a limitation from Dhan and i will start looking for workarounds ..
