Feature request for availability of investment in SIFs via dhan app please asap

Hi @Rishabh We are evaluating this. SIFs are too early, yes - there is some enthusiasm for the new product as expected.

I’m still waiting for mutual funds on web. Don’t know what’s taking such a basic feature ages to launch.

Then there are new funds. e.g. Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund - IDCW Payout Plan is not yet available (it’s been almost 3 months since its lanuch)

Hi @encore No feature on any trading system is basic, we have to make things work the right way and our team ships the fastest in the industry. Yes, if something that you wants isn’t built out - it may end up feeling that way.

For Web, we are doing a overall revamp. It’s been nearly 4 years and you may be already noticing updates shipped every other week.

@Rishabh Groww started with Mutual Funds and hence it’s mature to offer other similar products. Are you facing issues with Groww that you want to shift to Dhan for SIFs or MFs?

No, i am not facing any issue on Groww, but I am in love with Dhan and want to see the best out of it. Actually groww has a lot more functionality which Dhan doesnt right now, but i absolutely love the overall UX of Dhan a lot more than Groww. I am just compromising a little bit by using Dhan and not using Groww. But just in the hope that it will one day be better, and one day the best

And not just as a user, I am person starting out a career in tech, so Dhan is my favourite case study to see and learn tech. I remember that AWS quoted Dhan as the fastest cloud based broking and trading app which was just lovely to see

@Rishabh I would just say that you should be tied to your investment and not the app or the broker. I was with Groww since 2017 and moved to Dhan in 2023 for Direct Stocks. I still use Groww for Mutual Funds and for Direct Equity its Dhan. There are pros and cons in both and I just look at the positives that both offer to me in terms of investments.

yea man i understand, but its really hard for me to leave dhan. i am just in love with it. i will surely “have” to use groww till the features dont come on dhan, but then itll be dhan all the way
